Foi a Jessica que teve esta ideia, inspirada pelos milhares de projectos que se iniciam na net todos os dias e eu tinha que dar o meu contributo! Como não tenho scanner e se mandasse por correio ficava muito em cima da hora, tirei uma fotografia bem perto e com todos os pormenores (não é a que está aqui!) e... voilá! Trata-se de criar um livro de colorir (para crianças e não só) e quem quiser é só desenhar! O tema é a Primavera, por isso liguem a vossa imaginação à ficha e participem... ou apenas dêem uma vista de olhos AQUI!

I do not have a scanner so I took close picture of my drawing with all the details (it is not the one that is here) and... voilá! The idea is to create a collaborative coloring book (for kids and not only...) and if anyone would like to participate is welcome! the theme be The Return of Spring, so plug in your imagination and participate.. ou just take a good look HERE!

Esta foi uma tentativa meio frustrada de fazer um gorro à moda da Rosa, que foi feito com agulhas de diferentes números (porque não tenho 5 agulhas do mesmo nº) e sem ser de duas pontas, ou seja, deu algum trabalhinho! Mas estava ansiosa por experimentar e mesmo que tenha ficado imperfeito, gostei muito de fazer um gorro circular (mesmo sem as agulhas circulares apropriadas). A lã foi reaproveitada de uma camisola que já não usava e que resolvi desmanchar... Quem ainda não experimentou, é tentar!

Satruday morning doing a barret! It's hot in here!!!!!!

This was a frustrated attempt to make a barret from Rosa's patern, it was made with needles of different numbers (because haven't 5 needles of the same number) and i spend a little time doing it! I was anxious for trying and although isn't very perfect I enjoy very much doing this circular barret (even without appropriate the circular needles). The wool was reused from a sweater that already did not use and that I decided to disarrange... Who haven't experimented yet do this, go for it and try!

Ora pois, esta peça é da Beatee e veio para minha casa como uma camisola bastante usada! Não a modifiquei muito, tranformei-a num colete: cortei as mangas, bordei na gola, nos ombos e aproveitando o resto das mangas fiz-lhe um bolso e uma flor, com algumas missangas. Espero que ela goste...

Ok, this sweater is from Beatee and came to me worn-out, because that was the spirit of the swap! I didn't modified a lot, just transformed it into to a waistcoat: I cut the sleeves, embroidered the gullet, the showlders and with the rest of the sleeves I made a little flower and a bocket. I really hope she'll like it...

Durante uma "Reciclada" de roupa em que participei aqui um dos meus pares foi a Trudie, o que me deixou muito contente porque fiquei deliciada com as lãs que ela vende. Depois de lhe ter mandado a minha peça de roupa andava ansiosa por ver o resultado, mas infelizmente a peça acabou por ser desfeita pelo "felino-destruidor-de-camisolas" que ela tem e a troca acabou mal. Para se redimir do mal, a Trudie mandou-me duas meadas de lãs que realmente são lindas e que só pedem para fazermos qualquer coisa com elas!

Esperando que para a próxima a troca corra melhor, vamos ver o que sai daqui!

During the Recycling of Clothes wich I participate here, one of my pairs was Trudie, wich let me very happy because I was delighted with the yarns that she sells. After I send her my sweater I was very excited to see the result, but unfortunately the sweater was ruined by the "sweater-glutton-cat" that she has and the swap went worng. To redeem herself Trudie send me these beautiful yarns, so soft and pretty, which i'm not certain what to do with them!

Hoping the next swap runs better, lets see what comes out from here!

Com o passar dos dias a minha casa enche-se com todo o tipo de tecidos: lisos, estampados, coloridos, aveludados, sedosos, em retalhos ou aos metros largos eles dão vida às divisões por onde passam. Sim, porque quase sempre andam comigo para todo o lado (quando estou em casa!!!). Quando sobra algum tempo ali estão eles a chamarem-me para alguma invenção. Não, não estou a ficar louca a falar com os tecidos, mas parece que quase pedem para adquirirem outra forma:, um boneco com sardas, uma bolsa com mil fechos, um pin colorido ou outra coisa qualquer. O segredo é não esquecer que antes de tudo é preciso olhar bem para eles, porque eles dizem-nos sempre qualquer coisa! (Será que estou mesmo a ficar louca?) ൠ

Days go by and my house fills with all kinds of fabrics: smooth, printed, colorings, made velvety, silky, in remnants or with many metters they give life to the compartiments to where they pass. They always come with me to everywhere (well, only when i'm at home of course!!!).

When I have a little time off, they are already calling me to do some invention, to create something else. No, I'm not crazy alking to my fabrics, mas it seems that they are asking to have another shape: to be a doll with freckles, a stock market with a thousand latchs, one colored pin or another thing... The secret is not to forget that before everything is necessary to look with very attention to them, because they always say something! ( Am I going insane?)

Este é o meu segundo pin feito num intervalo interminável de um filme. Há coisa melhor que os intervalos de filmes que nos deixam a vegetar quase 20 minutos!?!?

Façam alguma coisa contra isso, é preciso evitar estar à frente da televisão a ingerir coisas inúteis! Aproveitem os intervalos :)

This is me second pin made in an interminable interval of one TV film. Is there any better thing than the intervals of the films that leaves us vegetating almost 20 minutest?!?!?

Do something against this, is necessary to prevent being in front of the television ingesting useless things! Turn to advantage the intervals :)

... E se em vez de tomarmos as nossas resoluções do ano, começássemos a considerar tomar uma resolução por mês?!!?! (ou por semana para os mais arrojados :P ) Há tanta coisa que podemos (E DEVEMOS) fazer no nosso dia a dia para tornar o sítio onde vivemos um bocadinho mais melhor bom... Dêem um olhadela por aqui e verão que nem custa assim tanto! A minha resolução da semana é: DESLIGAR DISPOSITIVOS QUE ESTEJAM A GASTAR DESNECESSARIAMENTE como por exemplo os "standby" das televisões que em média estão ligado 17 horas e meia por dia. Isto quer dizer que durante um ano inteiro cada casa que tenha 2 televisões (em média) irá gastar a "módica" quantia de 35 KWh/ano - que é a mesma quantidade de energia que um carro gasta a fazer 32,5 km!!!!!!!!! E acreditem ou não ao longo do ano o VHS, o gravador de vídeo que ainda toda a gente tem a funcionar com as horas ou então a piscar ininterruptamente [12:00], gasta 85% mais energia assim em standby do que se estivesse a ler cassetes de vídeo! Atenção, onde é que vivemos?! Por favor, a luzinha vermelha dos aparelhos que temos em casa não faz bem a ninguém, coitado do planeta.

Desliguem-nos da ficha! Isto também acontece aos carregadores de telemóveis que deixamos ligados à ficha, mesmo sem estarem a carregar a bateria do nosso telemóvel e que desperdiçam quantidades absurdas de energia! Sim, eles continuam a gastar mesmo sem ter lá o telemóvel!E isto custa dinheiro e energia. Para quê? Por favor!

Desliguem-nos da ficha! Então, mais alguém decidido a tomar esta resolução? :P

... And if instead of taking our year resolutions, we started to consider to take a resolution for month?!!?! (or per week for boldest:P) There is so many things that we can (and WE MUST) make in our daily to become the place where we live a little more better... Take a peep here and you'll see that doesn't cost that much! My week resolution is: TURN OFF APPLIANCES AT THE MAINS as for example "standby" of the televisions that in average are on 17 hours and half per day. This means that over the course of a year every household, with 2 TVs, will waste a whopping 35 KWh/ year – that’s the same amount of energy a car uses to drive 25 miles!!!!!!!!!! And believe it or not over the course of a year, a video recorder on standby uses 85% as much energy as it uses playing a tape. Attention, where is that we live!? Please, changing that little “standby” light on the front of something from green to red doesn’t actually do you –or the planet – much good. Mobile phone chargers left plugged in when not charging waste massive amounts of power. Unless you turn it off at the wall it’s still costing you money and wasting energy.. For what!? Please! Anyone is determined to take this resolution too? I'll dare you! :P

Talvez seja uma das maneiras que arranjei para me incentivar a ler mais: fazer um marcador de livro! (mais pormenorizado aqui ) Sim, confesso que já não leio um livro sem ser daqueles em que o assunto é crianças ou Educação Pré-Escolar há muiiiiito tempo e tenho muita falta disso. Quero reaver o tempo que tinha para pegar no livro da cabeceira e ler mais umas páginas antes de adormecer. Se o livro me conquistava a sério deixava-me embranhar na história e ficar até altas horas a ler até os olhos estarem tão cansadinhos que já não podia mais e tinha que os fechar para descansar. Mas era bom, sabia bem... Alguma sugestão de leitura? ツ

Yes, I confess that already do not read a book without being of those where the subject is children or Preschool Education in a veeeeery loooong time and have much lack of this. I want to recover the time that had to grab the book on the headboard and to read a few pages before fell asleep. If the book conquered me I penetrated deep into the history and be awake till very late just to read until the eyes were so tired that i had to close them to rest. But it was good...

So, any suggestion of reading? ツ

It was made in minutes in a rip of inspiration and much will to place in practical what it had in mind. Sincerely I find that I obtained what I wanted and I was not disillusioned with the work. Also the pins that miriam does are sooo beautiful!!!! ツ

I hope that the next ones get out so inhaled as this one...

How about this suggestion? Join and participate in the "Recycle Your Clothing" Swap organized by kissmyknitz, where each person who participates receives an item of clothes from another person and each one will have one month to transform the article. It can be dyed, to embroidered, cutted, sewed or decorated as you want and to where the imagination takes you. After transformed the item returns to its owner and this receives for post office its article also renewed. The ideia is good or not? :) I already enrolled myself and I expect more participant until 21st of this month! Come on recycle and know people new from the other side of the world! Este é o Kalhau, uma personagem de banda desenhada que criei há uns anos atrás e que estava esquecido numa gaveta. Esquecido não, guardado tal como guardamos tantas outras coisas que nos dizem muito, seja pela altura em que foi adquirido/criado, seja pelas sensações que nos dão, o que importa é que estão lá e fazem parte de nós. Quando reabri a "tal" gaveta e o encontrei a ideia de transformar a personagem de banda desenhada em boneco foi instantânea e logo pus mão à obra. Não ficou tão bem como esperava, mas associo-o logo ao desenho que tantas vezes rascunhei em todos os papéis que via. Foi uma altura boa e gosto de recordar esses tempos em que tinha paciência para inventar histórias e torná-las em banda desenhada. Já há muito que não rascunho nem pinto nada. Talvez...

From the clipboard to fabric and thread...

This is the Kalhau, a personage of my drawings that I created a few years ago and that it was forgotten in a drawer. Not forgotten, only kept as we keep other things that we like, because either the time that was created or bought, either for the sensations that the object gives us, well, what it matters is that they are important and they are part of us.

When I reopened the drawer and I found Kalhau on the paper the ideia of transform the personage into a doll was instantaneous and soon I put hand at the work. The result was not so well as waited, but it looks like thw drawings I made. It was good to remember these times where I had patience to invent histories and to put them in the paper, by srawings. I'ts been a while since I don't any draft or drawing... Maybe soon...
